Children's Ministry

Our desire is to honor God by loving children and strengthening families. Our Children’s Ministry is not a separate entity, but is a vitally integrated facet of overall church life here at Riverside. In other words, kids are a blessing, not a hassle! Our Leadership Team seeks to honor God and bless you by providing three Greats:

Great Facilities: Take a minute and read about the Playground Testimony and the Student Center Testimony to hear about God’s miraculous provision. We know that sometimes “miracle” is misused, but it is the only appropriate way to describe what God has done. Safety and excellence are our objectives whenever it comes to facilities.

Great People: We believe we have a phenomenal team. They are committed. They are mature and they are gifted to work with children. We thank God for the team members that sacrificially serve all of us here at Riverside. We are careful about who works in this ministry, and yet we are constantly looking for those who share our vision. If you desire to join the team and serve in this ministry, then fill out a Ministry Application and children’s supplement and pass it on to Mike Rizzuti.

A Great Message: The message is Jesus. We enjoy a life-changing relationship with God the Father through His Son, Jesus. The message is made known to us through the Bible. We search for the best curriculums which are Bible-centered and reflect the doctrinal views of Riverside as expressed in our Statement of Beliefs. We are currently using materials produced by Desiring God Ministries (childrendesiringgod.org).
