Jesus teaches us about the kingdom through the paradigm of treasure in Matthew 13.  We discover that  tragically that which becomes familiar we no longer treasure.  This is true in religion and in relationships.  This treasure hunt will lead to a discovery  of your heart, for one’s treasure indicates the condition of one’s heart.

In the eight parables that make up Matthew 13 we are taught about the kingdom of heaven.  Jesus teaches us about the growth of the kingdom and the treasure of the kingdom.  Today we look at 3 parables of growth and we will try to lay out 3 principles along the way.
