Jesus teaches us about the kingdom through the paradigm of treasure in Matthew 13. We discover that tragically that which becomes familiar we no longer treasure. This is true in religion and in relationships. This treasure hunt will lead to a discovery of your heart, for one’s treasure indicates the condition of one’s heart.
