Power Point: They Need Not Go Away
In an amazing account recorded in all four gospels we marvel at the compassion of Jesus as he miraculously feeds thousands. Jesus doesn’t just do it, but he commands his disciples to do it. We discover in this unusual interaction that acts of compassion are only possible when we face our own moral bankruptcy, that the consistent doing of such acts in a mercy lifestyle are not optional for Christians, and that God supplies all we need as we yield our limited resources to him.
Hello Pastor Brian, This was so great to listen to your message that I missed last week since I was away in Tampa for a Reunion. I enjoyed listening to it and the points of historical references you brought out. I hope many will take this message and apply it to their own lives and encourage others to do the same.
