From time to time Matthew provides a summary paragraph describing the healing ministry of Jesus. These passages bring us great knowledge of God and prepare us to answer one of the most difficult questions we face: How could a God both good and powerful allow so much suffering? In addition, the healing ministry provokes us to compassionately minister to the sick in a way that glorifies God. Is there a New Testament model for this kind of ministry?
